Because we appreciate your "Expert Partner" energy, we’ve designed the Summer 2026 Referral Program. It’s our way of saying thank you for being the hero of your friend group’s travel plans. Below, you’ll find the official "peace treaty" (also known as the Terms & Conditions) for our current program. We’ve kept it transparent, professional, and: dare we say: actually readable.

The Details: For every new client you refer who completes their travel, you receive a $50 gift card to a place of your choice.

The Reward: $50 On-Board Credit (OBC).
The Details: When your referred friend books a qualifying cruise, they will receive a $50 credit applied to their shipboard account.

3. Eligibility & The "New Friend" Clause

To keep things fair and focused on growing our community of savvy cruisers, we have a few standard rules regarding who can participate.

  • New Clients Only: This program is specifically designed to introduce new travelers to the Selfridge Travel experience. A "New Client" is defined as someone who has never previously booked travel or held an active profile with Selfridge Travel.
  • One Reward Per Booking: If your friends are traveling as a couple or a family in a single stateroom/booking, this counts as one referral reward. We love the enthusiasm, but we have to keep the "vacation math" sustainable!
  • The "Expert Partner" Connection: To qualify, the referred guest must mention your name during their initial inquiry or booking process. We can’t retroactively apply referrals once the "ship has sailed" (pun absolutely intended).

4. Qualifying Bookings: Cruise-Only & The $2,500 Threshold

Why is there a minimum booking amount? Because we specialize in curated, high-value cruise experiences. We aren't just "order takers" for $199 weekend getaways; we are travel advisors who help clients choose memorable sailings with the right ship, itinerary, and cabin category.

  • Cruises Only: This referral program applies exclusively to cruise bookings. Land vacations, resort stays, tours, rail journeys, and other non-cruise travel arrangements do not qualify for this promotion.
  • The Minimum: The referred guest’s cruise booking must have a total value of $2,500 or more (excluding port fees and taxes).
  • Why $2,500? In the world of modern cruising: especially for popular destinations like Alaska, Greece, or Italy: $2,500 is the "sweet spot." It’s where you move from a standard inside cabin to a balcony with a view, or where you transition from a basic package to an experience that actually feels like a vacation. It ensures your friend is getting the "Selfridge Standard" of quality.

5. The Summer 2026 Deadlines

We call this "The Sprint to Summer." While we love travel all year round, this specific referral bonus is tied to our Summer 2026 campaign.

  • Referral Deadline: Referrals must be submitted (the initial contact made) by August 1st, 2026.
  • Booking Deadline: The referred guest must have their booking finalized and deposited by August 31st, 2026.
  • Extension Clause: While these are the current hard dates, Selfridge Travel reserves the right to extend the program if we’re seeing "Milestone Mania" levels of excitement. Check back or subscribe to our newsletter at selfridgetravel.com/subscribe for updates.

6. The Fine Print (The "Legal-ish" Part)

We promise to keep this part as painless as possible, but transparency is a pillar of our Expert Partner promise.

  1. Non-Transferable: Rewards cannot be traded for cash (beyond the gift card itself) or transferred to other individuals.
  2. Cancellations: If a referred guest cancels their trip prior to travel, the referral reward for the referrer is forfeited. The "vacation magic" has to actually happen for the reward to trigger!
  3. No Self-Referrals: As much as we’d love to reward you for booking your own trip (which we already do through exclusive deals and credits!), this program is for bringing new people into the fold.
  4. Cruise-Only Promotion: This referral offer is valid for qualifying cruise bookings only and does not apply to land-only vacations, tours, resort stays, rail trips, or other non-cruise travel products.
  5. Program Changes: Selfridge Travel reserves the right to modify the terms or the reward structure at any time. If we do, we’ll be sure to communicate it clearly: no "hidden fees" or fine-print surprises here.

How to Make the Referral

Ready to help a friend find their next "borderline spiritual" moment of silence on a balcony in Greece? Here is how you do it:

  1. The Intro: You reach out to Kerry, via our Contact Page. Make sure you have name, phone number and email address for your friend.
  2. The Name Drop: Then, you tell your friend to go ahead and call, Tell them to mention your name during their first phone call with Kerry.
  3. The Planning: Kerry will take it from there, providing the personalized, expert guidance that takes the "ugh" out of travel planning.
  4. The Payoff: Once they sail (and you get that "we're having the best time!" text), we’ll reach out via email or phone call to get your gift card preference.
